HOLDING
RAM as part of the SIP Holding, contributes to the construction of APAS Chile's new MRO shop and hangar facilities, with direct access to Santiago de Chile International Airport's runway.
With an initial investment of 16.5 million USD, the site currently boasts a 17,000 m2 parking apron and a 2,400 m2 MRO Hangar since October of this year. By March 2024, we will expand the apron area to 29,000 m2 and inaugurate the first 2,500 m2 hangar for Aircraft Inspections, catering to both line maintenance and major inspections such as Check C, scheduled to commence from May of the following year.
In a subsequent phase, the construction of 5 additional hangars solidifies our position as one of the primary private maintenance centers in the Latin American Southern Cone.
